Antique Alley & Yard Sale
Started in 1999, the semi-annual event held the 3rd weekend in April and September has grown to include dealers from across the state and country along a 25 mile stretch of FM4 S. from Cleburne to Grandview. Over 500 dealers, food vendors, non-profit organizations and others participate in this event. Approximately 25,000 visitors attend each show and have visited from over 26 states, Canada, Alaska and England.

General Pat Cleburne Birthday Celebration
Taking place at Buddy Stewart Park off of Hwy67 on the west side of town, this event helps celebrate the birthday of General Pat Cleburne for whom the town was named. Festivities include music, food and beverage vendors, a classic car show, performances by western re-enactors, a replica confederate army encampment and much more. 817-645-2455

“Cowboys for Kids” PBR Bull Riding & Celebrity Team Roping
Celebrities and well known rodeo stars from across Texas and beyond, with many others, participate in this annual fund raising event to benefit the Cleburne Children’s Advocacy Center.

Springfest
Downtown Cleburne celebrates springtime with an event featuring vendors, food, music and other activities for all ages. Booths will be spread throughout the downtown area and parking is free. Downtown Cleburne Association, 817-645-2455

Chisholm Trail Classic Soccer Tournament

Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse PRCA Rodeo & Parade
This annual event takes place during the 3rd weekend in June at the Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo Grounds and consists of varied activities the week before the event, country western singers, nightly dances, calf roping, bull riding and the crowning of the new JCSP Rodeo Queen.

Concert in the Park Series
The Layland Museum of History hosts music every Tuesday evening in the month of June at the Hulen Park gazebo. Each week feature’s a different style of music. All the concerts are free to the public. For more information contact the museum at 817-645-0940.

4th of July Extravaganza
Join us at dark for a fabulous firework show at Lake Pat Cleburne. Tune in to 93.1 FM for music in sync. Be sure to visit the H.E.B tent for drinks & face painting!  For more information call 817-645-2455.

Goatneck 100K Bike Race
Over 2,500 riders from across the country compete in this annual race. Racers can compete in the 10mile, 27 mile, 41 mile or 100k legs of the race through some of the most beautiful hill country in Texas. The Goatneck was on the list of the 100 best rides in America in the November 2002 issue of Bicycling Magazine.

Pioneer Days
Held the third weekend of November, Pioneer Days helps celebrate the larger than life history of Texas and in particular, Cleburne. It takes place at the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum off of Hwy 67 on the northwest side of Lake Pat Cleburne. Just some of the activities taking place will be a chuck wagon cook-off; realistic gun fights by re-enactors; a confederate army encampment complete with authentic period cannons, tents, uniforms and weapons; authentic stories by native Indians; tours of real and replica buildings on the grounds from the 1800’s; a blacksmith showing how to make items; music ;vendors and much more. 817-648-1486

Whistle Stop Christmas
Annual event entering its 14th year, celebrating Christmas time in Cleburne. Hulen Park is magically transformed into a winter wonderland with over 3 ½ million Christmas lights and beautiful lighted holiday displays throughout the 9 acre park. Lights can be viewed every evening from Thanksgiving until the end of December. Along with the lights there is the annual Christmas parade and Candlewalk Tour of Homes, featuring several of the historic homes in downtown Cleburne. 817-645-2455.
