4th Annual Turkey Trot - Hybrid Runner Foundation

On Nov. 22 kick off Thanksgiving week with the annual Hybrid Runner Foundation Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk. This fun, family-friendly event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages while supporting the Cleburne High School Cross Country and Track teams. Lighted Christmas Parade

The city’s largest holiday event features the Lighted Christmas Parade in Downtown Cleburne on Dec. 4. After the parade, the celebration continues at Hulen Park with food & gift vendors and a special visit by Santa & Mrs. Claus. This year the tour will be a Drive-by featuring several of decorated Victorian and Colonial houses throughout Cleburne’s historic district on Dec. 5. Decorations reflect the culture and ethnicity of each homeowner. Take a stroll through the neighborhood with friends and family. After the tour, check out special activities available at several nearby businesses.

Pancake Breakfast With Santa

Kids will love spending their morning with jolly St. Nick for Breakfast With Santa & Camp Fire’s Santa House. A realistic-looking Santa Claus will meet and greet families over pancakes and listen to your children’s long wish lists, too. Children love this holiday tradition at Cleburne High School. It’s hosted by Camp Fire USA Tesuya Council and the Cleburne Kiwanis Club.

Brazos Chamber Orchestra Christmas Concert

If you’re a music lover, you will enjoy another popular Cleburne holiday event, The Brazos Chamber Orchestra Christmas Concert. The annual performance takes place at Field Street Baptist Church, with an orchestra of 50 people who play numerous instruments as they perform holiday hits. Musical selections encompass many musical genres, including classical, big band, pop and Americana. Not only is the music beautiful, but this sanctuary-turned-concert-hall is full of gorgeous stained glass windows and cathedral ceilings.
